Paradise Sharks Real Estate Challenged Again

Another satisfying day in paradise

I love what I do. Every day is different and I get to run around paradise helping others meet their goals. Each client is different. Each property is different. Each challenge is different.

House for blog

Less than two months ago we were approached by a client with their own challenge. They desired to sell their current home and find a new home in a nearby community that offered a lifestyle more closely fitting what their needs were moving forward. The challenge was to get their house sold and have them moved prior to their departure on April 5th. Not much time with lots to do; this was not going to be easy.

One of the toughest tasks we had was getting the sales price they needed for their current home which was far above anything in the neighborhood had sold for over the past year. The good news was they had done a fantastic job taking care of the property and had completed many upgrades over the time they owned the home. We put our photographers to the task of once again providing us amazing high definition photos and they came through.

Not only did we generate a tremendous amount of activity we also generated offers even though the neighborhood “experts” told us that we would never get the price we were asking for. But 20 days after putting the home on the market we had a firm purchase agreement and we closed on that sale just a few days ago. Not only did we save our clients 20% over what other brokerages might want to charge them for commissions we also broke a record. You see we sold the house for almost 18% more than any home in their neighborhood had sold for over the past year on a square foot basis.

We also were able to successfully find them their new home and negotiated a lower price per square foot than anything in that neighborhood has sold for. Tomorrow they leave for the summer, the challenge met. Our passion remains with our clients as we continue to raise the quality of service, marketing and value to anyone seeking real estate services in our market areas. As we tell each of our clients you can pay more and receive less but that just would not make any sense. Would it?

Fins up…..

After spending years among the top individual performers at one of Palm Beach County’s largest and most successful real estate brokerages, Tom Priester knew there was another way to do real estate. A better way. Real estate services focused on the customer. Like the old days when the customer truly was #1. He tired of listening to why he should be going out to have his customers sign one sided buyers’ brokerage agreements. He tired of hearing how he should be selling customers why paying higher commissions, like 7% and 8%, was to their benefit. He tired of hearing how he should sell his clients on why they should be paying hundreds of dollars in additional “transaction fees”. The business had slid way too far from being focused on the customer. His customer. So he decided the time was right to be different…..by design. To start his own unique boutique real estate firm truly focused on his customers. They will now have access to a process focused on them. Only the best marketing techniques to sell their homes. No cutting corners. Commission structures based on his clients needs not his. Paradise Sharks was born out of Tom’s passion to return this business to the customer. Where it belongs. If you want a real estate experience that benefits you, just give Tom a call at 561 308-0175 or send him an e-mail at tom@paradisesharks.com. You can always pay more and receive less but that just would not make any sense. Would it?
