Price dropped another $100,000 as Olivia Newton-John looks for buyer

It has been about 10 months since their contractor committed suicide in the Jupiter Inlet Colony home. Last August, the property was listed at $6.2 million and Rosie O’Donnell was all set to purchase the intracoastal home on the southern tip of the island. All was looking good until the unfortunate incident on August 19th of last year.


Since then Rosie canceled her purchase contract and bought a home in the Sarasota area. Olivia Newton-John has done everything from reportedly bringing in an exorcist to “cleanse” the house to lowering the price to attract another buyer. I don’t know about the exorcism but I do know overnight she lowered the list price on the home another $100,000 to $5.6 million. It has been the third price cut since the suicide and the first movement in price in about 6 months.

Olivia Newton-John and her husband John Easterling purchased the home in May of 2009 for $4.1 million and reportedly have spent over $2 million on the complete renovation. Not sure how much the exorcism cost but the house is absolutely stunning with some of the best views of the Jupiter Lighthouse from any backyard in town.
